If you want to learn to play the piano it is essential to have a suitable instrument to practice on. This flexible scheme is designed to provide a piano to get you started when the long-term commitment is uncertain. The minimum rental period is four months payable in advance. At the end of the rental period you have the option to return the piano, rent it for a further 4 month period or buy it either as an outright purchase or on interest free credit through the Take it Away Scheme. All your rental payments will be refunded against your purchase if you buy after the first 4 months reducing to 50% after a year.
Additional costs for delivery, tuning and a deposit are outlined below according to the type of piano you decide to hire (traditional pianos requiring tuning and being more expensive to move than digitals). Half of these costs will be refunded against any eventual purchase.

You can add a stool (£69 - £139) to the hire for £5 per month on the same basis.
NB The hirer is responsible for insuring the piano and for any damage caused whilst it is in their possession. A cheque or credit card swipe will be requested for the balance of the purchase price. This will be held as security until the termination of the rental agreement.

This is a Kemble Minx piano. Unusual in design and smaller than normal it is available for rental from us as a good inexpensive starter piano for those who would prefer to start with a traditional instrument rather than one of the digital models. Also suitable in this way is the Ronisch piano, pictured below.
