Second Hand Pianos for Sale

Buying a used or second-hand piano provides the opportunity to acquire a good instrument at an attractive price.

A good quality piano, if regularly tuned and maintained, will keep its quality of tone for decades - so second-hand need not mean second-rate.

Our qualified technicians inspect, carefully select, carry out any necessary repairs and tune the pianos that we offer for re-sale. We look for pianos that will hold their tune so that you you're not calling in the tuner too often. All pianos will be tuned to pitch which means they will match other instruments if played with them. Everything we do during this process is designed to ensure that you will be buying a reliable and pleasant sounding instrument that holds its tune and inspires practice! There's nothing more off-putting than having to practice on an out-of-tune instrument.

We Buy Used Pianos

We will often take a used piano as part of a customer's upgrade or trade up to a better piano, but we do also independently buy good quality used pianos for resale.

For logistical reasons we can only buy used pianos that are located within a twenty-five mile radius of our shop in Caterham on the Hill. So if you have an instrument you no longer require, that is within twenty-five miles of us, please complete our enquiry form and tell us about it.
