Try & Buy

If you want to learn to play the piano it is essential to have a suitable instrument to practice on. Our flexible Try & Buy scheme is designed to provide a piano to get you started when long-term commitment is uncertain.

The minimum rental period will be four months payable in advance plus delivery. A collection charge is also payable in advance but will be refunded if you go on to buy the piano.

If after the first four month period you decide to purchase the piano, initial rental charges would be refunded against the purchase cost. If you continue to rent the piano there would be a second option to purchase after eight months. At this point 75% of the rental would be refunded against the purchase price. You may continue to rent for as long as you like after that date with 50% of rental paid being refunded against any eventual purchase.

For new modern acoustic pianos the following applies:

You can add a stool to the hire for £5 per month on the same basis.

PLEASE NOTE: The hirer is responsible for insuring the piano and for any damage caused whilst it is in their possession. A cheque or credit card swipe will be requested for the balance of the purchase price. This will be held as security until the termination of the rental agreement.
