Piano Lessons at Vivace Pianos

Piano Lessons are a very important part of what we do here at Vivace. After all, there's no point in having a piano if you can't play it or don't know what to play. Our lessons can help you improve - whatever your current ability.

Lessons are available from qualified teachers for all levels from beginners to advanced students and for all ages. We can provide classically oriented lessons or tuition in popular and contemporary styles.

We currently have over 60 students and hold regular concerts for them to show off their efforts.

If we are unable to accommodate you we will recommend other local teachers.

We have 3 dedicated practice rooms where our teachers give lessons on every day of the week except Sunday.

In order to make progress it is essential to have a suitable instrument to practice on. Our 'Try Before you Buy' scheme may be the answer if you do not have a suitable instrument already.

Some people ask "Am I too old to learn?" The answer is definitely no if you are prepared to put in the practice!

Many people who had lessons when they were younger find that, in later years, with more time on their hands, they would like to enjoy the creativity of playing again - but are unsure how to proceed. Pictured here is one such lady who approached us recently for advice.

We found her a teacher she is happy with and arranged for her piano to be tuned. She is delighted with her progress and thoroughly enjoying playing again.

On-Line Piano (Keyboard) Lessons

If you are interested in taking piano lessons, but find it difficult to schedule a regular weekly timeslot - or just prefer to have total flexibility in when you study, we have the solution for you. In partnership with the award winning on-line tuition experts Gigajam, we are now able to offer on-line lessons in piano (keyboard), guitar, bass, drums and theory for just £3 per month (or £30 per year). A single subscription provides unlimited access to all the lessons, so you can learn a second, third or fourth instrument at no extra cost.

Our on-line music school contains over 128 rich media lessons, thousands of videos and play-along exercises, practice songs and over 22 hours of TV shows. The range of skills covered are equivalent to those gained up to Grade 5 and lessons are suitable for beginners through to intermediate players of all ages. The lessons are all on-line and the play-along practice software can be downloaded freely. Practicing does not require any special equipment, just your own instrument.

For students who have MIDI instruments, you can record and analyse your performances with the unique interactive Analyser software.
